About Me

Every game has a story.

My name is Brandon, and I love old video games. Being on the elder side of the Millennial generation, I was first exposed to video games at my cousins’ house with River Raid on their Atari 2600. From there, my family purchased an NES, and then a Sega Genesis. That Sega Genesis turned into a Sega CD and then we got a Sega Saturn before college swept me away and all of our old systems were sold for pennies on the dollar or given away.

As an adult, I continued to play newer video games, but I was always drawn back to the golden age of console games and arcade games that I had missed out on as a kid. I began buying older systems, starting with an OG Sega Genesis, and things just took off from there.

I also have a passion for woodworking and cabinetry, so when the two passions combined, I created my own custom arcade cabinet. Now, I get to share these games with my own kids, and with all of you. I hope you enjoy reliving some of your own memories, or making new ones, with the games we cover on this site.

Cheers!
